ELE USAL Bilbao offers the LanguageCert  USAL esPro exam, which is a system of evaluation and linguistic certification of Spanish within a professional context. This exam is developed by the International Courses department of the University of Salamanca and administered by its technological partner LanguageCert. Candidates who decide to take the exam are not presented at one level, but, as it is an adaptive exam, it is the exam itself that places it at its corresponding level within the language proficiency scale of the CEFR. (A1-C2).

The listening and reading exam can be taken in 2 formats:

  • Adaptive exam on the computer
  • Progressive exam on paper

The writing and speaking exams are only offered on paper, however soon you will be able to complete them on the computer.

The exam allows all 4 skills to be evaluated independently:  listening, reading comprehension, written expression and interaction and oral expression and interaction. Candidates can obtain a certificate for each skill, showing the score obtained from a scale of 0 to 100, which corresponds to a CEFR level (A1-C2). Once you have completed the USAL esPro exam, candidates receive a report of their results from each section and an electronic or paper certificate which indicates your level. Candidates will be able to verify their results through an online verification code.
