OUR ACTIVITIES
At ELE USAL Bilbao we want your stay to be unforgettable and truly special, which is why we offer our list of “Cultural and Social Activities”, where you will find:
- Extra-academic activities, authentic activities designed for young people and adults, available all year round. These include:
- Board game afternoons at the school
- Film screenings in the cinema room
- Gastronomy days: “A dish to share”
- Group excursions to nearby towns or cities
- City outings and visits with smaller groups
- Pintxos Day: For lovers of conversation, gastronomy, and coffee, once a month we organize an outing in Bilbao to enjoy delicious and typical Basque pintxos. During each meeting, participants will talk about cultural topics and issues of interest. The time and day will be arranged depending on students’ and teachers’ availability. The activity is available all year round, subject to demand, with a minimum of 2 participants required.
- Let’s dance! Once a month, Latin rhythm and other regional dance classes will take place at the school. For this activity, participants may register with a companion or guest to enjoy and share the experience. Each class lasts 1 hour and will be held in a designated room at the school. A minimum of 5 participants is required to run the class.
- After-school activities: designed for younger learners aged 6 to 12. During this time, children take part in fun and creative activities that integrate art, Chinese and Spanish language learning, while also making friends. For the 2023/2024 academic year, activities will take place every Friday in June, lasting 1h 30min. You can find more information here.
- Summer Camp: With the arrival of summer, fun, creative, and educational activities are the perfect option. During the entire month of July 2024 we will open our Chinese-Spanish bilingual summer camp, designed for children aged 6–12. This bilingual camp runs in the mornings (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), where children participate in different creative activities in Spanish and/or Chinese.
