Its main objective is to promote the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, as well as to contribute to the dissemination and knowledge of Hispanic culture. We offer Spanish courses (A1\/A2\/B1\/B2\/C1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, always taught by native and highly qualified teachers. In addition, we are an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes and an official Examination Center for DELE and CCSE.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\"><strong>The School<\/strong> is located in the center of <strong>Bilbao, on Aureliano Valle Street 4<\/strong>, just a few meters from Indautxu metro station and Plaza del Bombero Ech\u00e1niz. This location allows students to easily reach the school from different areas, enjoying great convenience and access to various extracurricular activities, both cultural and leisure.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the surroundings of the school, students can find various services, such as:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Metro, train, and tram stations, as well as bike lanes.<\/li>\n<li>Urban and intercity bus stops.<\/li>\n<li>Taxi stands.<\/li>\n<li>Public bicycle parking.<\/li>\n<li>Caf\u00e9s and restaurants.<\/li>\n<li>Shops and supermarkets.<\/li>\n<li>Parks, museums, galleries, and a wide tourist offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <strong>opening hours<\/strong> are Monday to Friday, from <strong>9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d22020\"><strong>METHODOLOGY <\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #d22020\">ELE USAL BILBAO<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">The <strong>methodology<\/strong> applied in our classes is based on the <strong>Action-Oriented Approach<\/strong> and <strong>Competency-Based Teaching.<\/strong> The Action-Oriented Approach takes into account that students learning a language are real citizens who want to learn a \u201creal\u201d Spanish that allows them to face different challenges and situations of the 21st century. In this sense, it is necessary to promote competency-based teaching (linguistic, communicative, and action-oriented) that enables students to mobilize the necessary resources and solve real-life problems. For this purpose, in our classes, students need to take an active role and develop more complex processes that involve directing their actions, managing their linguistic, cultural, and pragmatic resources, and above all, regulating and handling the emotions that are part of the different scenarios of their lives: academic, professional, and personal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">At ELE USAL Bilbao, we also understand <strong>assessment<\/strong> as a tool for academic improvement and guidance, which allows us to know the exact stage of the learning process. As it is a continuous process shared with our students, we use <strong>Continuous Assessment<\/strong> in our classrooms. This allows for the joint collection and analysis of the evidence generated during the learning process, awareness of the progress made and new needs that arise, as well as the necessary support from the teacher in guiding the student towards improvement. As mentioned, continuous assessment is carried out throughout the entire learning process in the classroom, since its objective is to provide useful information to both students and teachers about academic progress, existing opportunities for improvement, and the outlook for new objectives.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #d22020\">STUDENT PROFILE<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Our students are most often between 18 and 42 years old and come mainly from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Of course, at ELE USAL BILBAO we welcome people from all backgrounds and cultures, and we will be delighted to assist you and provide the best service, whatever your age or origin.
